12 Weeks!

The first trimester is officially over! We survived. We have one husband down but not out. All the time I'm spending taking care of him now won't come close to the amount of taking care of I will need over the next 6 months...and probably beyond. Here is baby bump, or lack there of, as of this morning!

Medical Billing & Coding

Yesterday was a very productive day! We went to church, had breakfast (fried bologna where have you been?) and then settled in on the couch. I completed 4 assignments for my medical billing and coding program. I don't know what I got on my written assignments, but I got a 90 on the Medical Terminology/BioChemistry test. Feeling pretty good!

11 Weeks

Happy Valentine's Day!
And happy 11 weeks to us!
This photo is from 10 1/2 weeks...after I shoveled the 30" of snow from our driveway...
What's up Bernie's butt?

Not really showing yet. Mostly a little chub...and I know this because I had to use a rubber band to wear my jeans today. Yikes!

Last night while reading "What to Expect When You're Expecting" I decided it would be a good idea to get a sense of what to expect during labor. Boy, was that a horrible mistake.
Epistemology
Bloody Show
Mucus Plug
Labor positions...squatting, standing, kneeling

Needless to say I'm a little more nervous today for what is going to happen in 29 weeks.

Unrelated to pregnancy...

I hate Proactiv.
Guess what? You are scam artists.
I cancelled 2 months ago because, while no strong evidence suggests this, I am 100% positive that it would be harmful to my nugget. They keep charging me! It makes absolutely no sense. I will cancel my bank account if that is what it will take.

UPDATE 2/15/13: Proactiv has credited my account for the 3 charges. I am pleasantly surprised!

I need french fries!

Holy Potatoes!
I am craving starch like nobody's business. Sweet potatoes, french fries, home fries, mashed potatoes, you name it.
At my Dr. Appt last week they gave me a list of foods to stay away from. What was #3 on the list? Freaking potatoes....come on!
So, while I'm going to assume sweet potatoes are OK, I need my nugget to start craving something I can actually eat.

Trouble is I don't feel like eating much of anything. I'm hungry all of the time, but really not inspired by any food. Breakfast has been a bowl of cereal and then bring a banana to work. Lunch is a sad salad of some sort. Dinner becomes, "whats the easiest thing in the freezer to cook" since my husband is on crutches at the moment.

All I want to do is eat french fries and sleep people!
